Rainfall continues across much of Middle Tennessee, with some heavy showers embedded in the rain – mainly in southern portions of the Mid State. A Flash Flood Watch continues for Franklin, Lincoln and Moore counties through 6PM this evening. No warnings at this time.


The National Weather Service in Huntsville, Alabama has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of Middle Tennessee.
Locations: Franklin, Lincoln and Moore counties in Middle Tennessee.
Timing: 12PM Thursday through 12PM Friday.
Discussion: Showers and thunderstorms, some heavy, will produce widespread one to two inch rainfall amounts. Locally higher amounts are also possible, leading to an increased risk of flash flooding.
